Neither Argentina, nor Brazil or Uruguay (in truth, neither Paraguay, now already a potency in South America and that almost eliminated Spain in the quarter-final in the last World Championship) have won none of their matches and only obtained a tie the two that played, what shows a notable parity in the Continent, when nobody could foresee.
