Perhaps without noticing about the lucidity of his sentence at the press conference, the captain of the Argentinean team, Javier Mascherano, stated when consulted regarding the level of the World Championship in the middle of the second date of the first phase, that the football, in general, “goes to be a tactic assess in which any team with a good tactic scheme will be able to compete against other that seems superior”.

Except Argentina and Holland (that does not count for the moment with their maximum figure, the extreme Arje Robben, injured, though he could return later), no other team of tradition was able to clearly impose.
The Italian team is in full polemic between the press and their coach Marcelo Lippi, who defends the high average of his players age and scarcely scratched one point vs Paraguay thanks to a mistake of the goalkeeper Justo Villar, helped by the very strange sheer drop of the ball “Jabulani”.

And if that is not enough, this World Championship could remain almost without African teams in the eighths, after the South African debacle vs Uruguay, the bad beginning of Cameroon, defeated by Japan, the last place for Algeria in its group, the same situation for Nigeria in their own, and scarcely Ivory Coast that shares the zone with Brazil and Portugal, and Ghana that arrives in good position to the last round have chances to represent their Continent in the final phase.
What starts to be watched is that the football of high level is too much equal, as Mascherano says, because that is true, the four or five principal leagues of Europe gather a great percentage of top players, meanwhile the rest of the leagues have transformed into satellites only that try to place their players on the great market and as well big circus.
The question is whether the great percentage of players of the five Continents, or at least, the best of each team, share the same leagues, the same coaches, and the same tactic systems, same discipline, that at the same time fall on the productive football and that has not a great interest in the spectacle (“tactic assess” ) is then possible to see something too much different in one and the others. And it seems, with some exception, it is not possible in this time.
